Thai Lounge is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in town! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are always so friendly and attentive. The menu has a great variety of dishes, and everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Green Curry - they're both to die for! The prices are reasonable as well.
The food here is simply amazing. We have tried most of the dishes on the menu. Our favourite starters are the fish cakes, papaya salad and asian style chicken wings. The mains section are all really good as are the fish, curries, noodles and fried rice sections. Would recommend the Pad Bai Krapow (with Thai holy basil leaves), the classics like tom yum soup, pad thai noodles, green or red curry. The food is made much more enjoyable by the courteous and attentive staff.
Amazing food for amazing prices with amazing staff. The ambience of the restaurant is really calming and comfortable, everyone is friendly and making sure you feel welcome. The portions are really generous and you really get your money's worth if not even more. For starters we had the Papaya Salad (awesome, but quite hot), as well as the Chicken Salad (perfect). For the mains we chose the Pad Makahm duck (this was the best duck both of us ever had!!) and the Chi Mussaman Curry (very delicious). The 20min car journey to get there was definitely worth it and I will go again!
We have had a takeaway before, but after a busy week, we ordered a delivery. Food was delivered within time , and the food was hot and very delicious. All the family enjoyed including the children. Thank you from Rachel and Luke
Easily and with a huge confidence giving 5 to this restaurant. We are lovers of Thai food , usually been going to Caning Town for the dinner or so . This time decided to save our time and also traffic at the Blackwall tunnel brought us to this really nice place . As I know they’re just started, so doesn’t seems to be really busy . Shame as hidden gem was so close our house . Our area is full of restaurants, but only few where we’re we coming back and will do to this one for sure .Staff was really friendly and treated us well . After the payed bill , been treated with free alcoholic beer , prosecco and juice for our little.
We visited the Thai Lounge tonight and had a great night, food was excellent and the service was on par with the food! I had penang chicken with a satay chicken starter. My wife is Vegan and the choice For her was extensive, almost a whole page of options ! We will definitely be going back again . 5 stars from us .
I honestly have no words that can describe my satisfaction with this restaurant. Me being an Indian and a foodie, taste and flavours a very very important to me.. I've had some of their vegetarian options multiple times now and it's flawless! Only once the soup had a bit of less flavour and I mentioned it to them, the next time the same soup blew my mind off! Trust me for the price the portions are huge and the taste will linger forever.. thank you Thai Lounge for always always living up to expectations! FYI - my review holds true for dine in and delivery.
